Industry Membership & Continuing Professional Development

Student Membership
Student membership is available to students enrolled in the Certificate IV in Career Development or the Graduate Certificate in Career Development Practice at the CEAV Institute or other CICA endorsed providers of these qualifications.

How to apply
For a year of student membership, you will need to provide evidence of your current enrolment in CICA endorsed qualification unless you are a student at CEAV Institute. Student membership is significantly discounted to support students with ongoing learning and networking in the sector. For just $57 for 12 months, you can start your professional journey. On completion of your course you can upgrade your membership to receive further benefits. Those with a Certificate IV in Career Development are eligible for Associate membership and those with a Graduate Certificate in Career Development Practice are eligible for Professional membership.
Professional Development
Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is a requirement for career professionals as outlined in the CICA Professional Standards for Career Development Practitioners. The ACCE annual professional develop calendar is specifically developed to support experienced, new and student practitioners select from over 30 free CPD events online.
Members attending professional development events and webinars receive Certificates of Participation. Those unable to attend live events can watch recorded webinars on demand and map their learning in their CPD tracker via the ACCE Member Lounge.
Registering for CPD
Our professional development is available to all and most events are free to our members. Registering for the free membership rate requires members to login to the Member Lounge and then select and register for their event via the ACCE events page.
Professional Requirements
ACCE professional development is mapped to the CICA Professional Standards for Australian Career Development Practitioners and the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers. ACCE Professional and Associate Members must complete a minimum of 15 hours of CPD per year.
