Parking
For all conference attendees, parking is free on level 6 of the multilevel car park for the duration of the conference 1-2 December 2025.
NOTE: For delegates staying at Deakin Residential Services, Parking permits are required in General Permit Zones (white bays), 8:30 am - 4:30 pm Monday to Friday. All times out of that are free.
Casual parking with OPark
OPark is Deakin's 'pay as you go’ parking permit app for parking in General white bays ($1.60 per hour or $6.40 per day).
Download the free OPark App from either Google Play or Apple Store.
Create an OPark account with a valid debit or credit card, then use your smartphone or laptop to start and end a parking permit session. You do not need to decide how long you’ll require parking for prior to purchasing a parking permit session and if you remember to stop the session, you will only be charged for the parking time you use.
Please take extra care to ensure you enter your vehicle registration(s) correctly (the most common mistake to avoid is entering the letter ‘I’ instead of the number ‘1’ or the letter ‘O’ instead of the number ‘0’ or vice versa). The current format for standard Victorian registration plates is 1AB2CD – a number then two letters, a number then two letters (regardless of what it looks like on the registration plate).
